It is our mission for each student to maximize his/her skills and abilities while a student at St. Luke Catholic School. In addition to the classroom instruction, we offer multiple supports for students to achieve their individual success.
Resource/Intervention: St. Luke Catholic School employs four (4) full-time resource teachers that support specific grade areas: K-2, 3-4, 5-6, and 7-8. Each teacher offers student support, in conjunction with the homeroom teacher, both inside the classroom and, individually, outside the classroom. Additionally, our resource team partners with MSD Washington Township to offer quality support and use available resources.
Response to Intervention (RTI): Homeroom teachers have the discretion to refer students to our RTI team, who meet to discuss a variety of strategies to support the growth of each student.
Enrichment: St. Luke Catholic School employs one (1) full-time ELA enrichment teacher for Grades K-5 and one (1) part-time Math enrichment teacher for Grades 2-4. These teachers work with students who demonstrate a pattern of success on assessments to further extend and apply the content in a more rigorous delivery in order to ensure students continue to develop at their own individual pace.
English as New Language (ENL): St. Luke Catholic School employs one (1) full-time ENL teacher who provides support to students and teachers.
