School Choice Scholarship Program
Provided a family meets the income requirements above and one of the tracks listed below, parents may designate that the state funding assigned to their child will follow them to an accredited non-public school, which is St. Luke Catholic School.
- Child attended Pre-K through the state-funded 'On My Way' Pre-K Pilot program in the previous school year
- Child is assigned to an 'F-rated' school based on residence for the coming school year
- Child has a sibling who received a school choice scholarship at any time in their K-12 education
- Child has a documented IEP or ISP
- Child received a school choice scholarship during any previous school year
- Child received a school choice scholarship the year before and would like to re-apply
- Child attended public school the full previous school year and is entering first grade or higher
- Child received a tax credit scholarship from an approved SGO during any previous school year
Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO)
A Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) is a state-approved organization that receives private donations for the purpose of giving scholarships to individual students whose family meets the above income requirements. An SGO can be used as a pathway to a future School Choice Scholarship, allowing families to have a significant savings on tuition.
Parish Tuition Assistance
St. Luke Catholic Parish maintains a tuition assistance account to assist families that do not qualify for scholarships through the above listed ways.
