Academics

St. Luke Catholic School prides itself on surpassing state and Archdiocese proficiency standards on standardized test. Academic Excellence is not just a tag line - it is what we do. Our academic objectives are two-fold:

  • Maximize the skills and abilities of each individual student;
  • Partner with our parents on their child’s educational journey.

Each of our K-8 grades is split into three (3) classrooms, allowing for small class sizes and differentiated instruction. We offer a diverse array of learning strategies and best practices and align our curriculum to ensure a smooth transition to each grade. We offer a robust student support area, with three (3) full-time resource teachers and two (2) enrichment teachers. Our specials area team features two (2) Music teachers, allowing students to select a specific music track of band or string instruments; two (2) Physical Education teachers and two (2) Foreign Language teachers instructing Spanish and Latin; and teachers specializing in Art, Library, and STEM.

All of our instruction is modeled on current best practices as well as Catholic teaching and modeling. Students graduate from St. Luke not only academically ready for high school but spiritually, mentally, and physically ready to be productive citizens in our global world.
